(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Cedar Rapids unveils design plans for a new dog park.
Cedar Rapids Parks and Recreation is in its final design stages to transform 10 acres of the former Jones Golf Course into a dog park.
Feedback on designs provided at a public meeting back in July were incorporated into the plans.
The park will include separate areas for large and small dogs, a pond, a trail, and a training yard.
Construction is expected to begin in 2024.
