(Bettendorf, IA) -- Bettendorf is advancing in its new pedestrian bridge that will be connected to development areas around the TBK Bank Sports Complex.
The $85,000,000 complex will include an Iron Tee Gold Driving Range, another indoor athletics facility, and a hotel.
Bettendorf's Economic Development Director, Jeff Reiter, says he wants an iconic entry into Bettendorf and thinks the bridge will do just that.
The bridge will cost around $10,000,000.
The city will use bonds to pay for a portion of the project.
Construction is expected to begin next year.
