Starting Friday through New Year's Day, Omaha Police will again take part in a high visibility "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" holiday traffic enforcement effort.
During the Christmas and New Year's Holiday Season, the U.S. Department of Transportation's National Highway Traffic Safety Administration will again be working with local law enforcement agencies to decrease impaired driving.
Law enforcement and transportation experts say impaired drivers continue to be a leading factor in serious injury and fatal crashes.
