Up next this week as courts open after the New Year's holiday will be an initial court appearance for an Omaha woman arrested in connection with a death.
Omaha Police say 31-year-old Alyssa Roman is jailed in connection with the death of 33-year-old Alan Critser.
Police say officers responded to a possible home invasion late Friday afternoon at Hanover Circle and Mormon Bridge Road and found Roman coming out of the residence.
Inside the home, police say they found Alan Critser dead.
Roman faces charges of second-degree murder and the use of a weapon to commit a felony.
