Triple A reports the average price for regular unleaded in Iowa is $2.78 a gallon, a drop of 2 cents from this time last week. Prices vary regionally across the state, including:
- Des Moines: $2.79
- Ames: $2.86
- Iowa City: $2.83
- Cedar Rapids: $2.82
- Waterloo/Cedar Falls: $2.83
- Quad Cities (Iowa side): $2.73
- Quad Cities (Illinois side): $3.14
- Dubuque: $2.89
- Sioux City: $2.69
- Council Bluffs: $2.66
The national average price for regular unleaded is $3.07 a gallon.
