(Anamosa, IA) -- An investigation by the Iowa State Patrol is underway after a child was hit by a vehicle while sledding in eastern Iowa.
Investigators say the accident happened in Anamosa around 11:30am Wednesday. The Iowa State Patrol says the child was sledding down a hill and crossed onto a road, after which the child was hit by a vehicle. The extent of the child's injuries have not yet been confirmed.
The accident remains under further investigation.
