(Rock Island, IL) -- UnityPoint Health Trinity will soon start its first ever "Baby Bowl" event.
The competition is between UnityPoint's Bettendorf and Moline to see which facility has more newborn babies.
Beginning on Sunday, January 14th, both birthing centers will keep track of how many babies are born through Sunday, February 11th.
Both hospitals will provide weekly updates throughout the competition.
Officials at UnityPoint say both area facilities welcome about 1,800 babies each year.
