(Davenport, IA) -- Investigators are looking for the cause of a structure fire in Davenport that left two people dead.
Crews responded to reports of a fire Tuesday morning at around 3:55 a.m. at a structure located in the 5200 block of North Division Street.
Upon arrival crews say they found moderate smoke coming from an apartment and quickly extinguished it.
After searching the structure, crews discovered two deceased individuals.
Police say the cause of the fire and deaths are suspicious.
The fire is being investigated by the Davenport Police Department and no further information is being released at this time.
