(Iowa City, IA) -- Firefighters are investigating after a fire broke out in downtown Iowa City.
A news release from the fire department says crews responded to reports of smoke at around 2:22 p.m. Wednesday at a building on 316 E. Burlington Street.
Upon arrival, crews discovered heavy smoke inside a restaurant on the first floor of the building.
They were able to extinguish the fire in about 20 minutes, but about $75,000 in damages to the building was reported.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Iowa City Fire Marshal.
