Forecasters at the National Weather Service Office in Valley say snow will arrive Thursday afternoon and evening, bringing an additional 1-3 inches of accumulation, 1-2 inches possible in the Omaha/Council Bluffs Metro.
They say fresh, light, powdery snow will combine with winds gusting up to 30-40 mph this evening into Friday leading to blowing and drifting snow, reduced visibilities, and hazardous travel, especially during the Thursday afternoon/evening commute.
