(Davenport, IA) -- A fatal apartment fire in eastern Iowa last week is being investigated as a homicide.
Davenport crews responded to the fire early Tuesday morning at an apartment in the 5200 block of North Division Street, finding the bodies of two 44-year-olds inside--Brian Goodwin and Amy Smith.
Officers were called to the same apartment more than four hours earlier for a violent domestic disturbance.
