(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- The Cedar Rapids Police Department will present a Scam Awareness program this week.
CRPD says the presentation is scheduled at 9:30am-11am at Beems Auditorium at the downtown Cedar Rapids Library located at 450 5th Avenue SE on Wednesday, January 24th. Coffee will be provided, and officers will explain ways residents can protect themselves from scams online and by phone.
The event is free and open to the public.
