(Davenport, IA) -- A man and a woman found at the scene of a fire last week had been fatally shot.
A search warrant says Davenport firefighters discovered the bodies when they responded to a call at a home on North Division Street January 16th. The Quad-City Times reports a bloody lighter and hatchet were also found at the scene.
The search warrant was issued after the arrest of Adriana Prieto, and Devon Braet. Police found the female victim's purse in a vehicle the two were traveling in at the time of their arrest.
As of Tuesday, neither Prieto, or Braet have been charged in connection with the incident.
