(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- A woman is recovering after being hurt in an apartment fire Tuesday morning.
Investigators say the fire happened in the 1500 block of Oakland Road NE. Crews were able to quickly extinguish the fire they say was confined to a single unit in the apartment complex. The occupant suffered minor injuries and was taken to an area hospital. She's expected to make a full recovery.
No word yet on the cause of the fire, which remains under investigation.
