(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Three people, one adult and two children, are recovering in the hospital after a house fire early Wednesday morning.
The Cedar Rapids Fire Department says the fire was at a home in the 900 block of 10th Street SE. Crews responded to reports of the fire around 2:40am. First responders were able to rescue the adult and three children out of the home's second floor. Two cats died in the fire.
No word yet on the cause of the fire.
