(Anamosa, IA) -- Nelson Media Company is buying the Anamosa Journal-Eureka.
Journal-Eureka made the announcement February 1st, saying they will discontinue publishing the paper in digital and print forms, effective following the February 1 edition.
As of Tuesday, February 6, Nelson Media Company officially the owner of the newspaper.
The president and CEO of Nelson Media Company, Chris Nelson, says he made the purchase to continue the paper's legacy.
Journal-Eureka will be back in print next week.
