(Iowa City, IA) -- Children are welcome to play several games of bean bag toss with local law enforcement this weekend.
The event will take place Sunday, February 18th, at Mercer Park/Scanlon Gym from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The event is an opportunity for parents and children to meet and get to know local officers and deputies.
Each participant will receive two free daily pool passes.
It is part of Project F.U.N., which stands for Friendship, Unity, and Neighbors which is a partnership between area law enforcement, Johnson County Community Violence Intervention, and Iowa City Parks and Recreation.
