Davenport City Council's Public Comment Reduction Goes Into Effect

(Davenport, IA) -- Public comments at Davenport City Council meetings are being reduced.

During next week's meeting, residents will have three minutes to speak instead of five, no general public comment will be allowed at Committee of the Whole meetings, and public comment audio in live streams and video recordings will be muted.

The new rules will take effect on February 21 at the Committee of the Whole meeting.
