Triple A reports the average price for regular unleaded in Iowa is $2.93 a gallon, up two cents from this time last week and up 21 cents from a month ago. Prices vary regionally across the state, including:
- Des Moines: $2.77
- Ames: $3.13
- Cedar Rapids: $2.96
- Iowa City: $3.01
- Quad Cities (Iowa side): $2.97
- Quad Cities (Illinois side): $3.30
- Dubuque: $3.16
- Waterloo/Cedar Falls: $3.03
- Sioux City: $2.90
- Council Bluffs: $2.87
The average price for regular unleaded nationally is $3.27 a gallon.
