(Davenport, IA) --- There will be fewer cruise visitors to the Quad Cities this summer. A company that offered Mississippi River cruises is shutting down.
American Queen Voyages is announcing it's closing due to financial difficulties brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The company has canceled all future cruises, and is refunding deposits.
The cruise was one of several that made stops in the Quad Cities, docking at River heritage Park in Davenport.
