Triple A reports the average price for regular unleaded in Iowa is $2.98 a gallon, up 5 cents from this time last week. Prices vary regionally across the state, including:
- Des Moines: $2.95
- Ames: $3.12
- Iowa City: $2.97
- Cedar Rapids: $2.98
- Dubuque: $3.17
- Quad Cities (Iowa side): $2.95
- Quad Cities (Illinois side): $3.27
- Waterloo/Cedar Falls: $3.02
- Sioux City: $2.93
- Council Bluffs: $2.95
The average price for regular unleaded nationally is $3.26 a gallon.
