Omaha Police say they have a suspect in custody in connection with a central Omaha shooting.
Police say officers arrest 38-year old Jesse Jay Wallace of Lincoln in the area of 34th and Lincoln Boulevard.
Wallace is at Douglas County Corrections facing numerous charges: Felon in possession of a firearm, second degree felony assault, shooting at an occupied dwelling, use of a weapon - gun- to commit a felony, tampering with evidence, possession of marijuana less than an ounce, driving under suspension, and willful reckless driving.
Investigators say the victim suffered a bullet wound to the lower body around midnight outside a bar near 50th and Saddle Creek Road.
Omaha Fire Paramedics took 37-year old Beau Van Regenmorter to a hospital with a non-life threatening injury.
