(Davenport, IA) -- A new store offering fresh groceries is coming to Davenport soon.
City officials say the former CVS on 1777 N. Division Street is being turned into a Dollar General store known as DG Markets.
The facility will offer its normal goods, but will also have fresh meats, dairy products, produce and other items.
A definitive date for opening hasn't been announced, but officials hope to start serving customers in the spring.
