(Linn County, IA) -- A Linn County farmhouse is destroyed after a fire.
Firefighters found the home outside of Central City engulfed in flames.
They were able to contain the fire, but the farmhouse was a total loss.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
At least nine local agencies worked to put out the fire and investigate.
The home had not been occupied for years.
