A police chase that at times reached speeds of 130 MPH ends on Interstate 29 in Iowa with the driver and a passenger arrested at gunpoint Sunday night in connection with an Omaha shooting.
Omaha Police say those two and another in custody are believed to be involved in the shooting.
Officers originally went to the area of 48th and Manderson in Omaha early Sunday evening and found 27-year old Taw Moo with a gunshot wound.
He was taken to a hospital by Omaha Fire Paramedics.
OPD Gang Unit officers then located the suspect vehicle, a white Dodge Challenger, near 46th and Ames Avenue.
Officers attempted a traffic stop and the vehicle fled at a high rate of speed.
One passenger got out of the vehicle near 66th and Grand Avenue in Omaha and fled on foot.
Officers took that passenger, a 17-year-old male, into custody.
They say he was in possession of a rifle.
The Challenger continued driving recklessly, eventually entering Iowa.
The car became disabled on Interstate-29 near Honey Creek and two additional people were taken into custody.
They are 25-year old Chit Lay and 18-year old Wah Say.
