The forecasters at the Omaha National Weather Service Office in Valley say a strong storm system is expected to track across Kansas Wednesday, bringing the potential for severe weather to portions of southeast Nebraska and southwest Iowa Wednesday evening into early Thursday.
They say the highest potential for severe weather will be in southeast Nebraska near the Kansas border.
The most likely time for storms will be between 7 p.m. and 11 p.m.
Primary hazards will be large hail up to the size of golf balls and winds up to 60 mph.
