(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- The first three stages of a major two-year road construction project starts Monday in Cedar Rapids.
The Paving for Progress project will rebuild 35th Street Northeast, from Oakland Road to F Avenue.
New sewers, sidewalks, and street lights will also be added.
The first stage will see 35th Street closed about a half block west of Eastern Avenue Northeast to just east of the Eastern Avenue Northeast intersection.
