(Black Hawk County, IA) -- The Black Hawk County Sheriff's Office releases the name of a man found dead on a sandbar in the Cedar River.
Investigators say the body of 23 year-old Daniel Van Brocklin was found on March 9th. They believe he was canoeing alone, made camp on the sandbar and may have tripped into the campfire. The official cause of death has not yet been released and could take up to 8 weeks.
