(Macomb, IL) -- We're learning more about a deadly officer involved shooting in Macomb over the weekend.
Police say they received reports of a domestic dispute at an apartment complex around 10pm Saturday. When officers arrived, they found blood at the scene and heard screams coming from inside an apartment. Police entered the apartment and found a woman stabbed multiple times and a suspect holding a knife. After being told multiple times to drop the knife, and officer shot and killed the suspect.
An investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
