(Johnson County, IA) -- The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation is looking into the death of an inmate at the Johnson County Jail.
The Johnson County Sheriff's Office says 36 year-old Nathaniel Davis Jr. died after suffering a medical emergency at the jail.
Davis was serving a seven-day sentence when he fell over in his cell last Thursday, and was taken to hospital, where he passed away Tuesday.
