(Davenport, IA) -- A final re-zoning vote for a historic property in Davenport will take place tomorrow.
Davenport City Council sold the Annie Wittenmyer campus on Eastern Avenue in January for $1. Developer Chris Ales plans to spend 40-million dollars, converting the campus cottages into 99 housing units.
The campus chapel houses the Nighswander Theater, home to Davenport Junior Theatre.
The city will retain an option to lease or re-purchase the theater for up to five years until Junior Theater can find a new home.
