(Davenport, IA) -- Iowa lawmakers are now looking into the settlement payments made to former Davenport city employees.
The Iowa House Government Oversight Committee will hold a hearing regarding the settlements tomorrow.
Dr. Allen Diercks is suing Davenport over the settlements. He says the city violated open records law by keeping the process secret.
Iowa State Auditor Rob Sand is also investigating. His office is facing resistance from Davenport officials blocking access to closed meeting recordings.
