(Waterloo, IA) -- One man is dead after an officer-involved shooting in Waterloo on Monday.
Police say the shooting happened on Monday afternoon after reports of shots fired around 2:45pm. A responding officer eventually fatally shot a suspect at the scene. The names of neither the suspect nor the officer involved have been released. The officer is on leave pending an investigation by the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation.
