(Atkinson, IL) -- Some residents in Atkinson will have their water shut off this morning.
Crews will shut water off for Atkinson residents north of Route 6 and west of State Street.
The water is expected to be off until 5:00 p.m. Wednesday. A boil order will follow.
The shut-off is because of an unexpected valve incident that happened on Friday of last week.
