(Marion, IA) -- The Marion Police Department is identifying the person killed in a crash on Friday.
Police say around 3am Friday, emergency crews responded to reports of a pedestrian who had been hit by a semi tractor trailer. The victim is being identified as 20 year-old Julian Gibson. While crews attempted live-saving measures, Gibson died of his injuries shortly after.
The driver of the semi was not hurt and is not facing charges.
