(Rock Island, IL) -- The Rock Island Police Department is naming an interim chief.
Deputy Chief of Police Tim McCloud has been chosen to lead the department while the administration decides how to move forward after the retirement of former Chief Richard Landi last week.
McCloud is a thirty year veteran of the force.
