A Des Moines man has been sentenced to life in prison without parole after being convicted in a 2021 homicide.
29-year old Darren Diggs contacted 21-year old Kalvyn Kline to buy Xanax in October of 2021.
Video evidence later shows a man who looked like Diggs at the scene of Kline's murder on Hull Avenue in Des Moines. Shell casings were found at the scene matching a gun owned by Diggs.
He was found guilty by a Polk County jury back in March.
