(Pottawattamie County, IA) -- Someone walking in Council Bluffs this (Wednesday) morning spotted skeletal remains. Police say it was a human skeletal torso that appeared to have been exposed to the elements for some time. Police say there were no clues as to an identity. The remains will be sent to the State Medical Examiner's Office.
The remains were found north of Veterans Memorial Highway and E. Manawa Drive, about a mile north of Manawa State Park, in southeast Council Bluffs.
