(Rock Island, IL) -- One man is dead and another in custody after a fatal shooting in Rock Island over the weekend.
Rock Island Police say a gunshot victim died at the hospital Saturday afternoon after being found in the parking lot of the Maple Ridge Apartments on 5th Street.
Derrick Nephew Jr. is charged with First-Degree Murder. He's awaiting extradition from Davenport where he was arrested.
The identity of the victim hasn't been released.
