(Rock Island, IL) -- The Rock Island County coroner is identifying the victim of a fatal shooting over the weekend.
The coroner's office is identifying the victim as 21 year-old Omari Braxton. Investigators say the shooting happened around 4:45pm Saturday inside a Rock Island apartment complex. A suspect, 29 year-old Derrick Nephew, Jr. has been arrested in connection to the shooting, and he now faces first-degree murder charges.
