(Altoona, IA) -- Two people are hospitalized after a crash Wednesday morning in Altoona.
The Altoona Police Department says first responders were sent to the scene of the crash a little after 3:30am and found an SUV had crossed the median and hit a car head-on. Investigators say they believe the driver of the SUV was having a medical issue that led to the crash.
The driver and passenger were taken to an area hospital.
