(Des Moines, IA) -- The Iowa State Fair is adding a farmer's market to this year's fair. It'll be near the Grandfather's Barn area, behind the Cultural Building. The Fair is inviting vendors with locally sourced products to take part. They're looking for vendors who sell fruit and vegetables, fresh or dried flowers, plants or unprocessed meats.
The Grandfather's Barn area will feature the Iowa Wine Growers Association in the barn, a new Bubbly Bar on the hill and an all-Iowa market called the Fair View Farmers Market.
10x10 locations are available for $30 per day. Applications can be submitted for one day or multiple days. The hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The application deadline is June 1, 2024.
