(Vinton, IA) -- The trial of an Iowa woman accused of first-degree murder in the killing her step-mom continues in Benton County Court today.
The prosecution rested their case Wednesday, showing a video of Samantha Bevins seemingly confessing to the murder in a social media video.
Defense lawyers will now try to convince a jury that the murder of Jodie Bevins was committed solely by her step-daughter's boyfriend during a robbery gone wrong.
Tacoa Talley was convicted of the murder of his girlfriend's step-mom last summer.
