(Clinton, IA) -- Part of the roof of an abandoned building in Clinton has collapsed.
The city says they acquired the building on 7th Avenue from a negligent owner and have been taking steps to prepare it for demolition. That timeline will be sped up now.
Tuesday will mark the 1st anniversary of the partial collapse of The Davenport apartment building that killed three men, and left dozens homeless.
