(Linn County, IA) -- The Iowa DOT is unveiling initial plans to replace the intersection of Highway 151 and Springville Road, northeast of Cedar Rapids, with an overpass.
The intersection is notorious for accidents due to poor sightlines.
Cathy Cutler, a planner with DOT tells Iowa's News Now that the DOT will hold public meetings to let landowners know what land will be needed for the overpass.
Cutler says construction won't begin until 2028.
