FEMA Opens Disaster Recovery Center in Greenfield starting Sunday

(Adair County, IA) -- FEMA is opening a Disaster Recovery Center in Greenfield to provide one-on-one assistance for people affected by Tuesday's E-F-4 tornado, which killed five people. It will be located at Greenfield City Hall on South First Street. It's set to be open from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday (May 26th) and then 8 p.m. to 7 p.m. daily.

According to a press release, recovery specialists from FEMA and the U.S. Small Business Administration will provide information on available services, explain disaster assistance programs and help people complete or check the status of applications for federal assistance.
