(Adair County, IA) -- The Adair and Guthrie County Emergency Management Agency has released the names of the five people killed by Tuesday's EF-4 tornado:
- 49-year-old Monica Zamarron was traveling in Adams County on Highway 148 when she was thrown from her car by the tornado.
- 78-year-old Dean Wiggins, 77-year-old Pamela Wiggins, and 73-year-old Michael Jensen were killed when the tornado struck Greenfield.
- 70-year-old William Williamson later died at a hospital after being pulled from the rubble after the storm.
The EF-4 tornado took just one minute to reap the destruction it did on Greenfield, severely damaging or destroying more than 150 homes. The National Weather Service is still investigating.
