Investigators say an Omaha firefighter at the scene of a house fire was shocked by a downed power line that had fallen on a metal fence.
Omaha Fire says the firefighter was taken to a hospital for evaluation and is expected to recover.
The fire was Monday evening at at 86th and Orchard Ave.
Arriving firefighters reported heavy smoke and fire on the outside of the home.
All occupants were able to safely evacuate.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation Monday morning.
