(North Liberty, IA) -- Beer drinkers will be able to try out "Yield of Dreams" at this year's Iowa State Fair. The new beer is a collaboration of the state's craft beer industry. The lager is made from Iowa-grown corn.
Beer makers across the state take part in this annual collaboration to highlight the economic impact of Iowa's craft beer industry.
“Each year, we’re excited to launch a new collaborative brew to help grow consumer enthusiasm about Iowa craft brewing with a brand that celebrates all things Iowa,” said Noreen Otto, Executive Director of the Iowa Brewers Guild. “Made from Iowa corn and brewed right here in Iowa, ‘Yield of Dreams’ will be a beer that Iowans can enjoy knowing it directly supports an industry and small businesses in our state.”
Field Day Brewing of North Liberty donated its time, facility and resources to brew this year’s collaborative beer. Field Day Brewing Company opened in August of 2023.
“We are excited to help rebrand this project and grow awareness for Iowa corn and beer and community-driven spaces like ours,” said Alec Travis, co-founder and head of Brewery Operations.
