Des Moines Police have made an arrest in a shooting at Lauridsen Skatepark that injured one person earlier this month.
30-year old Tereall DeShawn Green is charged with attempted murder after police say he tried to rob someone at gunpoint at the Skatepark. They say the victim and a friend were sitting in a car early in the morning on May 17th, when they were approached by Green and a group of males.
Green displayed a gun, and attempted to rob the victim of his watch. There was a struggle over the gun, which led to the victim being shot in the lower abdomen.
Green was arrested Tuesday night and is in custody in the Polk County Jail.
